Welcome

St Mary’s Church is situated in the picturesque village of Whitegate in Mid Cheshire. Our main services are at 9:30 on Sunday mornings when we have a robed choir. We also have our Little Fishes Sunday School or Story Telling service, and monthly Family Services. There are many activities for the less youthful too.

What’s Happening at St Mary’s

Maundy Thursday 17th April 2025

On Maundy Thursday we remember the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his friends before he was arrested. Join us at 7.30pm for a special Holy Communion Service with the choir.

Good Friday

On Good Friday 18th April 2025 at 2pm we mark the death of our Lord on a cross with readings and meditation in the service of Tenebrae.

Easter Sunday 20th April 2025

On Easter Sunday, 9.30am, we join with Christians around the world to celebrate that Jesus Christ is risen. Our family friendly Communion service will be followed by an egg hunt.

Join us on Sunday 13th April 2025 at 6.30pm for a special evening service of music and readings for Holy Week.

Join us at 9.30am for our Mothering Sunday Family Service. It will be led by children from Whitegate School.
